Life story

"Julianna Anna Maria Yebba "Anna" was born in Bologna, Italy, where she lived until the age of 14. Her family then moved to the United States and made their home in Revere, MA, where she learned English and made many friends. Anna and her siblings were known around the area to help with odd jobs and working in her father's grocery market. At the age of 19 Anna met and married the love of her life, Robert and moved to Miami Florida where she worked as a "Bar Maid" while Robert worked as a Long Shoremen and had 3 of their children, Michael, Paul and Julianna. Later, Robert and Anna moved to New Orleans and had 2 more children, Robin and Michelle. Anna was full of life and laughter, talked like a sailor, and always said what was on her mind. She would feed anyone who came around and was always ready to host a card game with the house always winning. Anna always loved having her 7 grandchildren around around and later her 15 great- grandchildren. Anna was known by many as the lady who could get things done and the one who would always put you to work. Anna and Robert were married for 72 years. Even through all the trials and tribulations a young couple would go through, they always found a way to keep their love alive and strong.

Julianna Anna Maria was preceded in death by her loving parents, Michael Venzia and Teresa Maria also by her siblings, Alphonse, Joseph, Michael IV, Anthony, Lena Angela, Venzia, John Michael, and Carmenia also her son, Michael Alphonse. Anna leaves behind her husband of 72 years Robert along with four of her children, Paul (Kathy), Julianna (Joseph), Robin (Fernando), and Michelle. Also, her seven grandchildren, Joanna (Dennis), Bobbie Jo (Jason), Melissia (Chad), Joseph, Shannon, Kelly, and Amanda. Thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She will be missed by many but by no one more than her best friend and doting husband, Robert.

Services will be private as Annas wishes to donate her remain to the LSU FACES Body Donation Program."
