With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of George Schwallenberg. A beloved father, grandfather, family member, and friend, who passed away on July 27th, 2026 at the age of 79.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, George, honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. His service reflected the courage, dedication, and selflessness that defined his character throughout his life. He carried the values of honor and integrity with him long after his military service ended.

Beyond his time in uniform, George will be remembered for the love he gave to his family, the wisdom he shared, and the quiet strength that comforted those around him. He had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a way of making others feel welcome and cared for. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the memories his family and friends will cherish forever.

He is survived by his loving family, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, they find comfort in knowing his love, guidance, and example will remain with them always.

We honor his life with profound gratitude—for his service to our country, his devotion to his family, and the countless moments of love and laughter he gave so freely.
