Eileen was born in Rhode Island and had a neat childhood, even living in Morocco for a bit because her dad was in the Navy. She spent most of her life in California, surfing the waves as a teenager, which held some of her fondest memories. Eventually settling down and having her two children Matthew and Tiffany, before later moving out to Virginia.
If you knew Eileen, you knew that she was a jokester, she was kind and could always make you laugh. She had absolutely no filter and would tell you like it was. She would tell you what you were doing wrong, but everyone knew that was just her way of looking out for the people she loved most. Even though she had a lot of tough health battles over the years, she never lost her sharp wit or her big heart.
She had her own special, unique relationship with everyone in her circle. Each of those relationships were important to her, and together, they all fit into her life like a puzzle.
She is finally at peace and in Heaven, where her dad, mom, sister Moe, brother "little Ed," and her beloved "Chewie" were waiting for her. She leaves behind her kids, Matthew of Greensboro N.C., and her daughter Tiffany (Bobby) of Spotsylvania, V.A. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren who she loved to pieces: Cali, Lanie, Madilyn, Avery, Adalai, and Bobby "Tripp." She is also survived by her brother Vincent "Vinny," who still lives in CA.
She also left behind her absolute best friend and roommate for many years, Amy Stegner, who she did everything with. Amy took care of her every single day through the ups and downs. Eileen will be missed by Chris, and the rest of Amy's family who loved her unconditionally: Kayla Carpenter and her daughter Alaya, Micah Carpenter and his girlfriend Candy Loving, and Alyssa Stewart and her family.
Eileen lived life her own way, said what she thought, and kept everyone laughing. Her battles are over, and she is finally free. "
