Life story

" On April 29th, Junie joined his wife, Audrey, in Heaven.

He is survived by his son, Chip and wife, Karen; his grandson, Festus Hudson IV (Cory) and Nicole, and his two sons, Brett and Cole; granddaughter, Amy and husband Frank, and children-Matthew, Audrey Rose, and Mason; and sister, Bertha Yowell.

He was born and raised in Nethers, VA and loved it for all his life. It was home to him and he considered many of the people he grew up with to be some of his best friends. He did leave the area at different stages in his life. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Italy during WWII. He returned home, found love and married Audrey Turner, and moved to the metropolitan area for work. Eventually, they came back home to Nethers where family, friends and community made them happiest.

As he aged he developed new friendships. He attended Culpeper Adult Day Care Center and also had several caregivers at home-De', Lisa and Brook-all of whom took exceptional care of him and made him feel special and loved.
