Life story

" James worked most of his life as a truck driver. His grandchildren called him Truck after his years of driving a semi, his great grandchildren would go on to call him Truck as well. Later in his life he created his own business with his son, James R McCann Jr, who tragically passed away in 2021. They were best friends, father and son, and successful business partners. He lived most of his childhood in Clincho, Va with many fond memories of the town and the people in it. He lived in a few different states before finally settling down in Fredericksburg, Va. Family was his whole passion. He would do whatever it took to make sure his family was taken care of, even if it meant he went without. He married his beautiful wife, Judy McCann, in 2017. They enjoyed 7 wonderful years together before his passing, including riding the 611 train together which was always on his bucket list. The people that knew him, knew that he loved fiercely and was a friend to all. "
