Life story

"Denny Lee Osenton, Sr., of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Grayson, KY, passed away April 22, 2024, at his home. He retired from the US Navy after 30 years of service.

He was born at home in Grayson, KY, the son of Joseph Malcolm Osenton and Barbara Cunningham.

Denny is survived by his wife, Janet Malone Osenton; two sons, Malcolm Osenton and Denny Lee Osenton, Jr.; a daughter, Angelique Osenton Pitzer; three stepdaughters, Dana Broeder, Suzanne Fowler, and Laura Briese; stepson, Michael Hoffman; 30 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine Nall Osenton; and a daughter, Lynn Pitzer.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Old Grayson Cemetery, Grason, KY."
