Life story
"BOBBY stayed a while in Martin County attending Oak City High School. Bobby then met her husband, Gleenwood Earl May, relocated to Greenville, NC and began working at Hampton Inn. She remained at that job for fifteen years, until her health wouldn’t allow her to continue on. The next chapter of her life permitted her to become a homemaker, helping raise her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
BOBBY was the sweetest woman you could have ever met. She became everyone’s mom because she never judged you. She always welcomed you with open arms and didn’t mind feeding you. She was known for her great meals, often being asked to sell plates
BOBBY was preceded in death by one sister & one brother
BOBBY leaves to continue her legacy to her husband, Gleenwood Earl May of Greenville, NC, 3 children, Earl Donita May, Yasheeka Lanay May, Jennifer Nicole May; five aunts, Letha Howard of New Jersey, Gracie Mourning of Long Island, NY, Janie Council, Bettie Council, Emma Council all of Bethel, NC; three uncles, Sam Howard of Hampton, VA, Aaron Council of Bethel, NC, William Council of Greenville, NC; a good friend of the family, Harvey Heath of Greenville, NC; seven grandchildren, Talysia Latrice May, Latina Sha’kel May, Brittany Nicole Joyner, Sabori Malek Ebron, Traviun Deshawn May & Day’Ceon May; a host of other relatives and friends .
