"On April 14th, Karen passed away unexpectedly in her home surrounded by her family. Karen was the heart and home of our family. She raised 2 children, Kristi (49) and Johnson (47) in a happy loving home. Karen was married to her high school sweetheart, Michael for 52 beautiful years. As the Meme to her only grandchild (Kaitlyn), she set so many examples of what it was to be a kind and thoughtful person. They spent a lot of time together giggling and talking for hours. Karen was known for her caring and kind soul. At Karen’s request, there will be no services, but before she passed she always said just share a laugh and raise a glass in celebration of her journey home. "
