" Mardell Hawkins was born in Oakland, Ca to Mr. George and
Essie Mae Thompson. Later in her life she got married once to Mr Edward McCane and gave birth to Carl. Then again on a second occasion to Mr Arnold T
Hawkins, over the years; she gave birth to 3 more children Mark, Tiffany and lastly Arnold Jr.
Our mother lived a very long and fruitful life, even though we will miss her so dearly, we must keep in mind that her spirit lives on for eternity, and not a time to be sad.
So until we meet again, let us rejoice because she is with God "
