Life story

"Carlos was called home after a brief fight with Lung Cancer with his family at his side. He vowed to fight until the end in which he did. Carlos was loved by many friends and family. He had a good heart, great sense of humor, a wonderful smile and truly cared and loved his family. Before retirement, Carlos was employed as a Production Supervisor for many years in the citrus industry. Carlos loved watching NFL football, old time cars and cooking on the grill. He even dabbled at fishing and tinkering with gardening and landscaping.
Carlos is survived by his loving wife, Tracey; 2 children, Carlos, III and Olyvia; stepchildren, Andrea, Riki, Dale, and Chelsey; sisters Mirta (Walter) Urroz and Olga Butler; brother Robert (Rebecca) Ortiz; 4 grandsons, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Rosa (Pagan) Ortiz; 4 sisters; Alicia Lopez, Diana Ortiz, Gladys Ortiz and Yolanda Ortiz Sanchez.
God bless your soul and may you rest in peace."
