Rochester – Chris B. Moss 68, formerly of Hemlock passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, February 13,2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on May 1, 1955 in Rochester,Ny, he was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen (Friedman). Chris grew up in Hemlock,Ny, He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

Chris worked as a welder at various jobs throughout his years in life. Chris had then decided to use his welding talents to go into business for himself. His knowledge of machinery led him to travel to where he helped install a paper machine in a new mill and teach the workers how to operate it.

Chris was a true outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and work on various projects.

Of all the things Chris loved to do was spending time with his grandchildren, great grand children and his beloved Chocolate Lab, Hershey were his favorite.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his infant grandson Joseph Bombardier-Moss.

He is survived by his beloved Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Hershey; his former wife, Linda S. Burton and their children: Charlie Moss (Amber) Corey Moss (Amy Lynn) Grandchildren Kodey Rich (Ashley) Keirsten Frasier (Trever) Kaeleigh-Anne. Great Grandchildren Kaili May, Abbigail, Odin, Luna, Leia, Lotus, Kodey Jr as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home 570 Kings Highway S. Rochester, Ny Burial will follow at Mt Hope Cemetery. 1133 Mt Hope Ave. Rochester,Ny

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the funeral home. "
