Life story

"Terry was born July 26, 1954 to Henry Davis Sr. and Annette Marie Woodson-Davis in Chicago, Illinois.
He was the second born of two to this union.
In making his transition into eternity Terry joins his parents and brother, Henry Davis Jr.


Terry attended elementary school in Chicago and graduated from CVS High School in 1972. He continued his education for two years at Kennedy King College and began his career at Cigna Insurance.


Terry was one of the original members of Rainbow Push Coalition, under the leadership of Rev. Jesse L. Jackson. He was an Avid sports fan and when young played basketball in minor leagues. Terry had a passion for music, which was displayed in his collection of over 1000 vinyl records.


Terry gave his life to Christ at New Faith Baptist Church in 2005 and joyfully served as a member of the Barnabas Men’s choir.


He is survived by his brother Clarence (Jessica), and James Jose (Carroll), and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, and close friends."
