Life story

" Kevin Tansey, 76, of Ruther Glen, VA was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 11, 2024. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Ginger; his children Matthew , Kimberly (Eric), and Wesley (Alyssa); his grandchildren Dorian and Kennedy; sisters Quita Collins, Maureen Tansey, and Colleen Keller; stepmother Shannon Tansey, and sister-in law Susan Tansey and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Tansey and his parents John and Courtney Tansey. Kevin was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine and was a Vietnam Vet. He will be interred at Quantico National Cemetery. "
