Melvin “Sonny” Kile, Jr., 77, of Spotsylvania, Va. passed away on February 2, 2024. He was born in Woodbridge, Va. & was predeceased by his parents Melvin Kile, Sr. & Leta Ruth Kile as well as his brother Roger Kile (Donna).

Sonny worked many years with Quarles as a driver & dispatcher & was well known in the Partlow area where he resided throughout his early retirement while hunting & fishing.

Sonny is survived by his loving daughter Sissy Kile (Boo Coates), who cared for him throughout his long illness. He is also survived by sons Bryon “Bill” Kile (Amy), Kenneth Kile (Amy), Michael Kyle, and daughter Tammy Kile-Buffaloe, grandchildren Cole Carneal, Maddie Carneal, Danielle Buffaloe, Tiffany Buffaloe, Donald Buffaloe, Jr. and Great-grandson Levi Ramjit. Also survived by sisters Frances Messer (David) and Ruby Webb as well as many nieces & nephews.

A service will be held at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Woodford, Va on Saturday February 24, 2024 at 1:00pm.
