Life story

" Sofia Amaila Aguilar, 93, of Culpeper passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at Louisa Health and
Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 19, 1930 to the late Felipe ad Maria Aguilar in Peru.
Sofia was a devote member of Capitol Memorial Church. When Sofia was an avid gardener and would
make sure the squirrels and birds that would come visit had a snack.
Sofia is survived by her great nephew, Tommie Thompson (Jessica); great-great nephew, Bentley, and
great-great niece, Penelope.
In addition to her parents, Sofia is preceded in death by her twin sister, Ana Shultz; her brother-in-law,
Karl Schultz; and niece, Ana Marie Thompson.
Services will be held at a later date."
