"Larry Lee Gray Sr., of Rockford departed this earthly life September 10, 2021 in Nashville, TN. He was born November 29, 1950 in Ripely TN the son of McKinley Sr. and Delaine Gray. Larry lived in Rockford 53 years coming from Ripley. He married the former Flossie Taylor August 5, 1968. Larry was employed at Chrysler Corporation and Octopus Carwash. He was a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Larry graduated from Lauderdale High School in Ripley, TN; class of 1968.

Larry leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Flossie; son, Larry (Erin Starks) Gray Jr; five daughters, Lisa (David) Jackson, Karen (Rodney) Knox, Dione (Reginal) Baldwin and Chastity Gray; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; mother, Delaine Gray; two brothers, Calvin (Dannette) Gray and Sterling (Martha) Hoarde; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, McKinley Sr. brothers, Eddie Gray and McKinley Hoarde Jr. and sister Carolyn Gray."
