Life story

"In loving memory of Gregory Eugene Lennon... it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a life well-lived.

Born on March 21, 1955, Greg was a dedicated family man who cherished the bond he shared with his wife, Celia Lennon (Echevarria). Their love story was one of unwavering commitment and partnership, creating a foundation that enriched the lives of everyone around them.

Greg was a proud and devoted father to three children; Sharmayne (Don), Joshua (Jackie), and Aleesa. In addition to his children, Greg leaves behind a legacy of joy in the form of eight grandchildren; Jace, Kaden, Aeris, Addison, Owen, Kevin Jr., Calvin, & Avery. Greg is also survived by his siblings, Anna (Tony) Jackowell, Richard II (Joyce) Lennon, Bradley Lennon, & Keith Lennon, as well as a loving extended family. Preceded in death are his parents, Richard & Rosalie Lennon, and first wife, Patricia Lennon (Staples).

One of Greg's greatest passions in life was the game of golf. The greens were not just a playground for him; they were a sanctuary where he found solace, joy, and camaraderie. His love for the game was infectious, and he shared countless memorable moments with friends and family on the golf course, including the thrill of a hole-in-one!

Professionally, Greg served in the US Army from 1974-1976, and also excelled in the HVAC field. His dedication to his craft was evident in his work ethic and the quality of service he provided. Colleagues and clients alike, benefited from his expertise and genuine care.

Beyond his professional achievements, Greg will be remembered by, and greatly missed for, his sense of humor, quick wit, his ability to make friends effortlessly, and his love for a good debate!

In celebrating Greg's life, let us remember the love he shared, the lessons he imparted, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of all who knew him. As we mourn his passing, may we also celebrate the rich tapestry of memories that will forever weave his spirit into the fabric of our lives. "
