Life story

" Sandra Perkins, 62, of Partlow, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Sandra was a down to earth Person who loved crocheting, wood working, nature, riding motorcycles, and was a founding Member of the Eagle Rider Fredericksburg at Eagle Post 4123.

Her family was the most important part of her life.

She is survived by her partner in life for 44 years and husband of 42 years, William Perkins; her oldest daughter, Crystal and husband, Charles Hornung of Franklin Township, NJ, and their children, Trinity, Taythen, Tevin, Torrin, and Taylor; her youngest daughter, Jacquelyn and husband Justin Bettick of Fredericksburg, VA, and her two children, Alexis and Kelsie; oldest son, Jonathan and wife, Casandra Perkins of Menoken, ND, and their children, Leland, Anastazja, Remington, and Paxton; and her youngest son, Mathew Perkins and girlfriend Marie Lansdowne of Spotsylvania, VA; her brother, James Merryfeild of Corpus Christy, TX; niece, Barbara Sueoka of Killeen, TX; brother-in-law, Charles Perkins and girlfriend, Christina Prachniak of Port Charlotte, FL, and their children, James Prachniak, Benjamin Prachniak, and Jase Orme; and best friends, Sue and Dan Mears of Pemberton, NJ, and their children, Amber and Justin.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Merryfield of Killeen, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Mary Washington Hospice who gave her and her family exceptional and compassionate care to the very end and beyond. "
