Age 20

Life story

"Ricardo was born in Cape Town, South Africa where he grew up till the age of 9 years old. He spend the rest of his life in Houston Texas. Ricardo graduated from Needville High School in 2021, while working full time at the Jay Cafe in town.
After that he worked at Buffelo Wild Wings in Rosenberg. He was about to start a new job as a IT technician where he planned to work while persuing his studies.
On the morning of Tuesday, November 21st he changed address to his eternal home in heaven through a tragic motorcycle accident.
His deep love for people & animals was a reflection of the love of Christ in Him.
Ricardo was a true friend to many and helped so many people through hard seasons while he was going through them himself. He had a HUGE heart and always had the lastes joke to cheer you up.
He gave generously since a very tender age. One night on his way home from work on his motorcycle, he stopped at a red light to give a homeless person some money. The next day he couldn’t find his wallet anywhere. It is then that he realized it must of fallen out when he put it back in his pocket at the red light. All the money he earned as a server that week was in that wallet. That was the heart of our son. He was quick to forgive and slow to anger. Looking back at his life, his love for sports cars and motorcycles was evident ever since he was a little boy. Ricardo truly lived a fearless, full life and finished his race STRONG! He never allowed FEAR to hold him back from doing the things he loved. He was both cautious and fearless. His legacy will live through the countless lives he touched while here in earth.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (NLV)
We are sure we will be glad to be free of these bodies. It will be good to be at home with the Lord.

Our hearts are hurting but we do not
mourn like the world without hope.

We know that our resurrected King, The Lord Jesus Christ, has rendered death defeated on the cross. If we live we live in him. If we die we die in him.

Sadly Ricardo is survived by his father, Benjamin Cruz, his mother, Bernadine Cruz, his younger brother Michelangelo Cruz and little sisters, Mercedez Grace and Kaitlynn Joy Cruz.

We find peace in knowing that Ricardo is in our future with our Lord Jesus Christ the resurrected King. "
