Life story

" Born in 1948 in Portsmouth, VA Florence "Flo" Potter was a shining light in the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Flo's Professional achievements were noteworthy, as she started her career with the Federal Government in 1966 and with hard work and extreme dedication retired in 2004 as a senior manager in development and training for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Outside of her professional life, Flo took great joy in spending time with her family, reading, and helping others. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her passion for her church demonstrated her commitment to making the world a better place.
Above all Flo will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. she is survived by her loving children Rachael Hall and Robert Riebe, her grandchildren Zachary Hall, Jacob Hall, Noah Riebe, Sofia Riebe and Joseph Riebe and her loving sister Deborah Ward. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter and unconditional love. Her legacy will live on through her family.
Flo touched the lives of many with her kindness, wisdom and generosity. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we mourn the loss of Florence Potter we also celebrate a life well-lived and enduring love and influence she had on us all. Her spirit will live on through the memories we cherish and values she instilled in us. "
