Life story
"She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved hard and fought hard. She attended Oakland Community College and obtained a degree in social work then went on to help many people as an Oakland County employee helping connect displaced workers with resources. One thing that stands out when remembering her legacy is her ability to make others laugh. While recieving cancer treatment in the hospital, all staff expressed how much they enjoyed her company and humor. She had such a free spirit that sprinkled light wherever life took her. She is a true representation of strength, as pain was a consistant part of her existance, but didn't allow that to hold her back. As much as she was love, she was stubborn and stuck in her ways. If she had her mind set on something, there was no changing it. This asset of hers instilled unwavering ambition to all who loved her. To know Catherine was to know love. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her."
