" Sidney Bellard was born October 13, 1933. As a young boy Sidney enjoyed growing crops and raising animals on the farm. Sidney maintained this hobby throughout his life . Sidney grew his own garden on his land because of his appetite for fresh vegetable's. Sidney even had a chicken coop to raise chickens and collect eggs. Sidney was a true country boy to his heart. Sidney has always been hardworking and a visual learner. Sidney learned the arts of carpentry and master plumber skills. Sidney married his first wife Edith Rougeaux and had 7 children. They divorced and he remarried to the beautiful Geneva Lamb Bellard. He became pastor to Peaceful Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Sidney Bellard is well known for his sonorous voice, french accent, witty advice, his love for story telling, and long conversations about a higher power. He had a close relationship with his youngest daughter Brenda Bellard. Brenda took care of Sidney until his very last days. Sidney got to enjoy his very last birthday 10-13-23. Sidney will now go on to be with his wife Geneva Lamb Bellard, father, mother, brothers, sisters, and sons. Sidney is survived by his daughter Brenda Bellard, grandchildren Dominique Bellard, Larena Bellard, Nafeesah Bellard, Mecca Bellard, Akeem Bellard, Olmia Bellard, Raheem Bellard, and many great grandchildren.
