"Marlo D Baker was born on August 22, 1975 to Ivan Baker & Theresa Townsend of Huntsville, Alabama. Marlo moved to Lima, Ohio in 1980 where he received his education through the Lima City School System where he excelled all his studies.

Before Marlo’s sickness he enjoyed time with family & friends, listening to music, playing basketball, & pranks. Marlo had a heart of gold and loved helping people in his words “ it’s better to give than to receive”. Marlo would be tremendously missed by all his loved ones and I know he surly touched everyone soul who has ever encountered with his sweet presence.

Marlo was truly blessed regardless of his circumstances. He was born on August 22, 1975 and departed this earth on September 27, 2023 to a long fight with Lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his loving father Ivan Baker; brother, Ivan Baker Jr; beloved sister Mary Baker; and two sons Juquan Hudson & Ishmael Curtis.

He leaves to cherish his memory to three beautiful daughters Kiaja Golston of Boston, MA, Kataya Denney of Marion, OH & Alexis Pickens of Fort Wayne, IN. Two living sons; Dawon Denney of Marion, OH & Marlo Baker Jr of Toledo, OH. His mother Theresa Baker of Lima OH; & his only baby brother Izel Baker of Toledo, OH. Also a large host grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, & friends."
