"Nimer Ali Elder

AMMAN - Nimer Ali Elder, known to his loved ones as Abu Mohammed, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2023, at the age of 92 in Amman, Jordan. He was born on April 14, 1931, in Jerusalem, British Palestine.

Abu Mohammed is survived by his son Isam Elder, daughter Fedwa Masoud, and his nearly 100 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of religion, history, and family. Throughout his long life, he was known for his charitable nature, always willing to give his time and money to those in need. We ask you to say a prayer for him today and whenever you remember him.

Funeral prayers were held at Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem, where Abu Mohammed worshipped. The Azza/wake will be held at Beit Hanina Banquet Center on 86 Beit Hanina Road. Al Farouq Funeral Services, Beit Hanina, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Abu Mohammed's educational journey began at Al Quds Academy in Beit Hanina and continued at Hajj Dajani Madressa for high school.
