Life story

"On the Evening of August 15, 2023, Veronica passed away at Cleveland Clinic/Akron General hospital as results of injuries received in a tragic shooting on Saturday morning August 12, 2023.
Veronica was born in Akron, OH on November 20, 1977. She was the first born to mother Elaine Bell.
Veronica “Dbo” Nicole Bell was a loving and caring Daughter Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend , Protector, and Hero to many people. Veronica had her family she was born into, but she also had her family she created with-in her community. She would pour her love over anyone and anything she came in contact with. Veronica would comfort you, protect you, love you, and care for you with everything she had in her. If you were hungry she would feed you (and trust me when I say this, the food would be some of the best tasting food you ever had,she loved cooking for people), she would provide shelter for many who had nowhere to go, Veronica would give you her last just to make sure you was alright. That’s just who Veronica “Dbo” Bell was, a HERO, in fact her last moments on this earth consisted of her being a hero, as she died protecting a friend from being harmed. Heaven gained a true angel In Veronica, a loving and caring soul that will be truly missed, but never forgotten. Although her physical presence is no more, the memories, and her impact on many will live on with us FOREVER. So this is not goodbye, it’s see you later Veronica as I know we will meet again at heaven’s door, where I know you would be waiting for us all with open arms as you would here on earth. So today we celebrate Veronica’s departure from earth and her journey to Heaven’s gate, as she will go on to join the lord, and reunite with her Mother Elaine Bell, and other loved ones that passed on before her. God Bless her soul and the family she leaves behind.
Veronica is survived by her (daughter) Shadarah Bell, (grandson) Eric Rush, (father) Micheal Moore, (sisters) Angela Bell, Michelle Moore-Greer, Samantha Braisel and Bethany Robinson (brothers) David Moore, Mark Travis, Marlon Travis, Michael Travis, Jeremy Braisel, Chris Smith and Robert Greer, (Bestfriends) Sparkle Motley, JarMyshia Terrell, Ebony Kellom, and Cleverisha “Reese” Bowers along with a host of aunties/uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews, and friends.

A Poem From Daughter Shadarah Bell

You make the sun shine on a cloudy day
When I'm sick you kiss the pain away Your tender voice took away my fears Your hand that wiped away my tears
The love you give so honest and pure
Keeping me forever safe and secure
You make flowers bloom in the spring It was you who fixed my broken wing
Mom because of you I now know love
My guardian angel from above
