"Melissa Lynn Bullock, 47, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born in Fredericksburg on July 1, 1976 at Mary Washington Hospital, the same hospital which cared for her in her final days. Melissa was a loving and beloved mother, “Mimi”, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was passionate about capturing photographs of every moment spent with her family, and strongly believed you should never let a moment pass without saying “I love you” to those you cherish. She was a huge fan of Supernatural and Charmed and she loved to watch television. She could out trivia anyone on her knowledge of celebrities, TV shows, and true crime stories. She could be silly and funny and dramatic, and also kind and determined to care for and help others. We are comforted in knowing she is now at peace. She is survived by her children Michael (Cassidy), Lexi (Chris), Angelica, and Mason; her grandchildren Natalee, Rileigh, Levi, Dawson, Connor, and Ella; her stepmother Angie Bullock; her grandmother Peggy George; her siblings Michelle (Ben), Trae (Natalie), Jonathan (Naomi), and Lisa (David); and much loved nieces, nephews, and extended family. Melissa is preceded in death by her parents, Rhonda Sprouse and Mason Bullock, Jr.; and her grandparents Welford Bullock, Sr., Shirley Brown, and Broaddus Pemberton. Melissa wished for her family and loved ones to remember her with joy. Per her request, no funeral service will be held. A private memorial for family will follow.
