Life story

"
Sarah was born September 25, 1944 in Rochester Kent England to Diana and Clive Fisher. She had an older brother Anthony Fisher.
Sarah was born a “war baby “and during the remainder of the war (the first two years of her life) she and her family lived quite comfortably with their maternal grandfather in Rochester Kent.
In 1946 after her father was demobbed from the Navy. They moved to a bungalow, on Newgate Street in Hertfordahire England. During this time they had no water, no gas and no electricity.
In 1947, the family moved to Enfield England.
At age 16 Sarah left home to attend school in Holborn in London, where she learned secretarial studies and Palantype.
In 1963 Sarah emigrated to the US, staying with her beloved Aunt Georgie in Cape Cod Massachusetts.
In 1966 Sarah married US naval officer, John William Hadbavny. October 1971, the couple had their first child; a daughter Anna Lise Hadbavny followed by their son, John Anthony Hadbavny in December 1982. During their many years of marriage, the couple traveled to many places, both stateside and abroad until the couple eventually settled in Georgia in 2004.
Sarah was known for her kindness, and for being a wonderful friend. She was a wonderful cook, and it’s been said many times that this was one of her love languages. She also had a love for quilting; painstakingly picking out material, crafting the layout and ensuring each stitch was sewn with love. She will be remembered fondly, and missed dearly. "
