Life story

" Bonnie Louise Brown was born in Va Beach, Va on February 19, 1954. She graduated from Kempsville High School in 1972. At the age of 19, she married Ben Harmon, her best friend and partner in crime. Next month they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Ben and Bonnie moved to Fredericksburg with their daughter, Dawn, in 1980. Bonnie was a homemaker for several years before going to work for the school system in Stafford. As a cafeteria worker she was able to have the same schedule as her daughter and make sure she got her on and off the bus. In 1987, Bonnie began her career as bookkeeper at Southern States Petroleum. She remained with Southern States until she retired in 2019.
Bonnie was a member of Fredericksburg Wesleyan Church. Since 2019, Bonnie attended Spotswood Baptist Church with her daughter’s family. Bonnie enjoyed her garden, the beach, and Hallmark. Most dear to her heart was spending time with friends and family. Bonnie leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, generosity, and laughter. She will forever be missed.
