"Ann and I send our sympathy and love from Champaign, IL. Joe, you and Arlene were so gracious to us when we moved to Ottumwa. You were a wonderful Product Engineering Manager and so caring and thoughtful about all of your team. Then, after we left Deere and moved to the University of Illinois, you made a special trip to "stop by" and see us. I will always remember and appreciate that extra special effort. Your Friends always, Roscoe and Ann Pershing”

"Joe and Schindelar Family, It is with great sadness that I read about Charlene's death. She was always so pleasant and wearing her warm smile. I enjoyed exercising with her and the other ladies from Woods and Meadows. We enjoyed a lot of laughter and had fun (not sure about the fun part, ha!) Great memories of a Special Lady! You all are in prayers and thoughts. With heartfelt sympathy. -Cheryl O'Klock”
