Life story

"Mrs. Sue was born on January 15th, 1943, in Tampa Florida, where she later moved to Albany Ga.

Mrs. Sue enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and was known for her giving heart. She was non-confrontational, a very loving person with a heart of gold. Mrs. Sue always kept a smile on her face and was willing to give a helping hand to anyone who crossed her path. Anyone who knew her, knows that she loved to entertain through her cooking, and her hand made blanket stitching. She was a loving Mother, Sister, Friend and the community role model that everyone looked up to.

Mrs. Sue knew the Lord and confessed Him as her personal savior at a young age. She was faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church- old Field, Terrell Country, GA. She remained an active member until her health declined.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie Grier, Sr

On Sunday June 1st. 2023, our dear ‘Mrs. Sue’ departed her earthly life for eternity at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital- North Campus, Albany, GA. As a family, we pause and give praise to our Lord for blessing her with 80 wonderful years of life. The Family of our dearly beloved Mrs. Sue humbly express great appreciation for the many prayers, visits, phone calls, and various acts of loving kindness conveyed to us during our time of bereavement. We will never forget the love you extended to us. May God our Heavenly Father bless each one of you, In Jesus name we pray, Amen."
