Life story

"We sadly say goodbye to Anna who went to be with our lord in heaven, after a short illness on December 19, 2022. Anna was 91 living alone independently at home until 2 months before her illness. Anna was born in Colfax, Illinois to Harley Meeks and Hanseine Peek/Meeks on June 10, 1931. Anna was a worthy Matron of Eastern Star. Involved in Royal Neighbors, and Minier elementary PTA. Anna was very kind, and generous. She was an artist, and excellent seamstress. Anna worked at Morton Pottery, and for Altec Lansing. She enjoyed building doll houses, putting puzzles together, and collecting Jewelry. Anna is survived by her children, Connie Henderson, Floyd Strayer, Linda Litwiller, Jacqueline McMullen, and Nancy Lee. She had 11 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandsons. Services are for direct family only."
