"James Joseph Miller
November 15, 1959 - May 13, 2023 Fredericksburg, Virginia

James (Jim, Flimmy) Miller of Fredericksburg, Virginia was called home on Saturday May 13, 2023 due to complications following a recent injury. James was preceded in death by his father Joseph. He is survived by his mother Florence, sisters Kathleen Beight, Patricia Miller, and Amy Long; brothers Paul (Rebecca), and Robert (Marie). James is also survived by his 12 nieces and nephews and one great niece that he loved with all his heart.

James was born in Washington, DC and then moved to Alexandria, Virginia with his family in 1963 where he spent most of his life. James was a graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School Class of 1978 and worked for the United States Postal Service.

James had a kind soul and was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a huge heart, especially for people in need. James was an avid collector of many things, especially his hot wheels and NASCAR memorabilia. James was a huge Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan and loved watching NASCAR races. James was a History and Sci-Fi buff as well. If you asked him a question about history he would always have an answer. James also loved animals, especially his dogs, Diamond, Ruby, Kiddo, and Peanut. James will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in James' honor on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Saint Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church at 8750 Pohick Road Springfield, VA 22153. In lieu of flowers we ask you to donate to your local Animal Shelter, ASPCA or buy your own pet a new toy or treat and love on them with huge hugs and kisses.
