Life story

" Theodore "Alan" Zorek passed way at home April 23th 2023. He was the third child to Edward Zorek and Lucille Sinclair. He grow up in southwestern South Dakota.
He went to Job Corp for automotive repair and then joined the Air Force as a Base Vehicle Equipment Maintenance Helper. After leaving the Air Force he worked in Automotive repair before going to truck driving school and driving over the road for 10 years followed by working for Amcon as a long haul driver for 15 years.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Edward Zorek and Lucille Sinclair and by his adopted father Jim Melvin.

He is survived by his son Brandon Zorek, Oklahoma, Brother Richard Zorek, Mississippi, Sister Joyce Toenjes, Colorado, adopted sisters Misty (Thomas) Hall, Kristina Melvin, Rebecca (Tommy Wielander) Melvin, South Dakota, 1 granddaughter, 2 grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation service through Sioux Funeral Home, Pine Ridge,SD
Memorial Service will be held June 3rd from 10am to 12pm at the Moose Lodge in Rapid City, SD
