Life story

"On December 20, 1956 a bouncy baby boy name Derrick Morris, Was born to the union of William Cross (Bill) from lynch, Kentucky and Elizabeth Moore (Branch) from Rolling Fork, Mississippi. Both preceding him in death.
Derrick grew up on south-Side of Chicago where he attended and graduated from CVS High School in 1975. Music was his major and passion, He loved music and played the trombone in the school marching band.

Not only did Derrick love music he loved the ladies, he definitely was a ladies man. God have Derrick a spurt of courage and strength and he was an admirable man.
Derrick battled Cancer and fought a good fight, never giving up and keeping a positive outlook on his sickness, still praising God until the end.
However God said early Sunday morning March 5-suffer no more your fight is over…
His legacy will live on as he leaves to cherish his memories:two daughters Lashanda and Terina, two siblings Princess and Reggie and 7 grandchildren and a host of relative’s, aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends."
