Life story

" H Paul Meisel of Louisville, Colorado found eternal life Monday, November 21, 2022, at the age of 84 years. He was born November 19, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edmund and Dorothy Meisel. Paul was a loving husband to his wife Lucy Meisel of 53 years and together they raised their two sons, Tim & Todd.

Paul loved the outdoors and often could be found somewhere on a soccer field either refereeing or coaching soccer games. Paul loved volunteering in the community and was an active member of the Louisville Lions Club for over 30 years and well as many other volunteer organizations, including a member of the Louisville Planning Commission. Paul asked to be remembered as someone who loved his friends and family.

He was a beloved father of Tim (Christina) and Todd (Kelly) and a proud grandfather of Douglas, Daniel, and Dakoda. Paul was the youngest of six children and was loved by his siblings Harvey (the late Gloria), Lorena (the late Frank), Sharlene (the late Wayne), Kingsley, and other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Audrey Bundesen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, January 20, 2023, at Flatirons Community Church 355 W South Boulder Rd., Lafayette, CO. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. A donation page has been set up in his name:
