"Glenn was absolutely my brother from another mother. We were inseparable for over 42 years, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Glenn taught me how to surf and we almost never surfed without the other one being present. I owe so much to Glenn for everything he taught me in life. He made me a better person in so many different ways. Glenn has always been the most selfless person I have ever met. He would do without for himself to provide for his family and help his friends. Glenn is and always will be one in a million, he had the most engaging and humorous personality you will ever meet. There was never a dull conversation with Glenn, he would always leave you laughing and smiling by the end of it. We never struggled for things to talk about and the conversations would go on for hours and it made my heart full. He was there in my good times and my bad. I never had to guess if he had my back because he always did. I am lost and struggle to figure out how to move on without him. I would give anything to have him cut me off in the water again. I never got to say goodbye but every time I surf I will remember Glenn, our 42 year long surf competition still continues. Until we see each other again my bro. I love you Glenn and always will. May peace be with you.”
