Life story

" Tammy Marie Berghuis, 56, of Culpeper, Virginia passed away October 3, 2022 from diabetes, organ failure and a past stroke. She was born October 5, 1965 to Thomas and Ruth Ennis.
Tammy was filled with love. She grew up in Stafford, Virginia where she was love so much by her mom and dad. Tammy met her husband, Scott, through her brother Jerry and enjoyed their first date at the Zoo. They became engaged the first week of September in 1986 and were married a month later on October 26, 1986. She worked in retail and as a CNA. Her proudest moments were raising her sons, Joey and Matt. Tammy loved being a mom; the only thing she loved more than that was being a nan to her grandsons. There are many things she still wanted to do. Tammy was Scott’s inspiration and the backbone to their family.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Scott D. Berghuis; sons, Joey and Matt Berghuis; grandsons, Rylan, Josh, Greyson, and Levi; mother, Ruth; sisters, penny and Carol; brother, Jerry; and many aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Thomas; brother, Kenneth; and son, Scott Dale Berghuis, Jr.
