Life story

"Patricia Ann Hughes Clevenger was born in Dixiana, AL to Lloyd G. and Annie Doyle Hughes Tidmore on April 21, 1938. She left this earth on July 23, 2022 to go to her Heavenly Home. Preceding her in death was her husband of 57 years Bobby Ray Clevenger, her parents and her three brothers, Edward, Kenneth and Doug Hughes and her sister in law Shirley Hughes. She is survived by her three children , Kevin R. Clevenger ( Joanne) Lou Ann Clevenger Newell (Barton) and B. Shaun Clevenger( Shannon), four grandchildren Miranda A. Newell Nichols ( John), Barton H. Newell IV ( Savannah) , Shelton Clevenger and Shauna Clevenger and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia loved to be outdoors with her flowers and the birds. She loved to study and read her Bible every day and most of all she loved her family.
There will be a graveside service at Liberty Minter Cemetery, Morris, AL at 2:00 p.m. Sunday August 14, 2022. Following the family will receive friends and family at Pinson Rock School until 6:00 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital Research or Hospice of Birmingham."
