Life story
"Catherine Randolph loved and enjoyed her family, but she was always concerned about world conditions. She could not understand why a young African American (Emmett till) boy could be persecuted to the point of not recognizing his face, and she prayed to God to help her understand why the world back then was so bad. She studied the Bible and became one of Jehovah witnesses. She was baptized in 1961 at Yankee Stadium. Her love for the Bible grew, and from that time she witness to all people she met, including teaching her (5) children about the God of the Bible Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. You saw Catherine all over Huntsville sharing God's word. She was regularly around the Court House Square enjoying all the people who passed by. So many people of Huntsville know of this beautiful lady. She believed that one day soon lovers for what is right will survive the destruction of this system of things. She believed this, she lives this. She didn't think she was better than anyone. She believed that all others was better than her, and her assignment was to educate herself spiritually with Jehovah Witnesses so that she could help people get out of harms way. She endured until March 10th 2022. She was faithful until her end, and now she is awaiting life in a righteous new world soon to come. In that new world Isaiah 33:24 will be fulfilled in her case "No resident will say "I am sick." The people dwelling in the land will be pardon for their error. This was her belief. Learning, studying, and applying the Bible in ones life will bring blessings to each person that one cannot imagine."

"To the family and friends of our dear sister Randolph. What a heart warming obituary, and faithful sister. One form of my ministry is leaving encouraging messages to those mourning the loss of loved ones. I usually highlight the resurrection hope at John 5:28,29 or the promise of a world free of suffering to come at revelation 21:4. But when I happen across a fellow brother or sister, seeing their zealous life course encourages and excites me, knowing that someday soon I will get to meet them, their family, and become part of their life story. The website JW.org has opened up such a wonderful field of treasure for those rightly disposed ones, but again, I thank whoever wrote her kind and loving obituary. I’m so sorry for your loss, but so happy for her strong faithful course. ”
