Life story

"Dennis Robert Martin Easley, SC Dennis Robert Martin, 68, husband of Betty Lou Nations Martin, of Easley, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022. Born in Swain County, NC, he was the son of the late Julia Brendle Martin. Dennis loved to spend time fishing and hunting and proudly served with the U.S. Army. In addition to his loving wife of 47 years, Dennis is survived by a son, Scott Martin of Asheville, NC; daughters, Kimberly Martin and Jennifer Martin, both of Six Mile; a brother, Jack J. Martin of Waynesville, NC; a sister, Dorothy A. Proctor of Easley; and three grandchildren, Gabriela Colecia, McKenzie Martin, and Bryson Martin. Dennis was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and James A. Martin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
