"I met Don 20 years ago when I started working at Atlantic Research Corporation. He was the lead Control Room Operator for the ramjet test facility, and I was the lead test engineer. We worked very closely together, performing hundreds, if not thousands of tests together. Don knew how to how to blend professionalism and humor. He was very diligent on safety and quality , but was also able to make everyone feel like part of the team. He made up nicknames and had inside jokes for everyone. He was a great coworker and will be greatly missed. Ted Smith”
