Life story

" Joseph Brian "Butch" Pullen, 60, of Culpeper, VA went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at his home. He was born November 23, 1960 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Homer Okley Pullen and Neva Weakley.

Butch had a lot of loves, just to name a few: He loved his family, fishing, giant oatmeal cream pies, movies, Kim's burnt pecan pie, his passion for helping others through his business and most importantly...anyone who knew him, knows his grandchildren were his entire world.

Butch was survived by his three children, Joseph Brian Pullen II (Laurie) of Culpeper, Dustin Lee Pullen (Lydia) of Culpeper, and Ashley Lauren Pullen of Culpeper. Butch also left behind nine grandchildren, Taryn, Lexi, Jadasen, Ty, Merci, Cole, Emma, Sole'ah and Victory. Also, his four siblings, Okley, Jeff, Becky and Scottie.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Okley Pullen and Neva Weakley Peace.

Butch's family will receive friends and family from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Family Community Church, 120 Chestnut Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701. "
