Life story

" Yola Marie "Puckie" Brown-Malbreaux, born September , 1947 to the late Clifton & Inez Brown. On June 14, 2021; Yola gained her wings at 73 years young; as her Heavenly Father called her home. Puckie lived in Lafayette all her life with her kids, grandkids, family and friends. Puckie loved being a grandmother, playing cards, saying her Rosary doing word search puzzles, baking and giving her Mother's Day Bash for her sister.

Yola "Puckie" leaves to cherish her memories her son and daughter, Clifton Malbreaux and Lanee Malbreaux; step children, Clifton, Sandra and James Carmouche and her special son Elijah Brown. Her grandchildren Devontre Alfred, Terrance Francis Jr., Kaitlyn and Natalia Malbreax, Braeden Gary, Chance Malbreaux, Devon Malbreaux.
Her remaining sisters, Cecilia, Romeldia, Corenthia, Jessica, Angelina, and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Clifton and Inez Brown, two sisters Rosemary Sam (Woodley Sam) and Mary Agnes Brown; two brothers, Clifton and Willie Brown. Maternal and Paternal grandparents and three nephews Willie, Wilbert and Clifton Brown.
