Life story

" Fred LeMoine passed away on December 6, 2020. Fred was born on December 7, 1932, in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. He and his wife, Bernadette (nee White), eventually moved to New York, where they raised their six children. He retired in 1999 as the Business Manager of Metallic Lathers and Reinforcing Ironworkers Local 46 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he and Bernadette spent their golden years. In 2014, Fred and Bernadette moved back to the East Coast to be closer to family, where they settled in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Fred was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved playing poker, and greatly enjoyed spending time with family.
He leaves behind Bernadette, his loving wife of 64 years, his children: Frances Barsky (Sam), Fred LeMoine (Debra), James LeMoine (Susan), Michelle Verderosa (Frank), Marion LeMoine, and Sanford LeMoine (Christine); 12 grandchildren: Danielle LeMoine, Julia Barsky Perilli (Justin), Bianca Powe (Matt), Tiffany Murphy (Thomas), Barbara Ann Griffo, Gabrielle Coco, Michael Verderosa, James LeMoine, Dominique Frey (Brent), Ryan LeMoine, Thomas Thorgersen, and Tristan Thorgersen; and eight great-grandchildren: Lainey LeMoine, Olivia Molina, Easton Frey, Bronx Powe, Cecilia Murphy, Camden Frey, Serafina Powe, and Abigail Murphy. Fred LeMoine will be deeply missed. A private memorial service will be held."
