"Carlos was a father, grandfather, brother and best friend. He was loved by many both in his home state of Kentucky as well as here in Washington. People will remember Carlos first for his quick wit, funny stories and humor. He had a way of making anyone laugh. He also loved his job as landscaper. His greatest talent was building waterfalls and rockeries. A testament to his talent is his own back yard which resembles something from a fairytale. He was a blessing to have known and to be a part of his life. We will never forget you Carlos. You will be greatly missed."
