Life story
" Steve spent his childhood with close siblings and many friends in the East Detroit area. Following high school, Steve proudly served in the United States Army for three years. He enjoyed being outdoors, cooking, and working with his hands. Steve was always prepared to tell a good story and never missed an opportunity to brag about his children. He prioritized helping others and loved nothing more than laughing with his countless friends and family. Steve was called home peacefully from Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital on July 12, 2020. He is deeply loved and will be missed by many.
There will be a public Celebration of Steve’s Life on August 9, 2020 at Veteran’s Memorial Park’s “Armed Forces” Shelter from 1:00PM to 8:00PM. Food will be served around 2:00PM. Parking is available across the street from the park.
Steve’s loved ones would love to see and hear all of your favorite memories of him! If you can spare a minute, please send your favorite pictures, stories, and songs that make you think of Steve and smile to:
