Life story

" Roger grew up in an orphanage in East Texas and enlisted in the US Nave when he turned 18. While in the Navy, he met his future wife Shirley in Long Beach California. They were married in July of 1959 and had seven children, Michael, Kathleen, Teri Anne, Christopher, Joseph, Lisa and Melissa. He retired as a college professor and moved from California to Parks, Arizona in 1993. Roger and Shirley lived in Parks until they relocated to Clinton, Iowa in 2018. They then moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia in July 2025. "
