Life story

" Florence Ann Smith of Culpeper, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 16, 1951 to William James Smith and Nellie Banks Smith. She was known in her community for sharing her Bible hope of living on earth in a paradise.

She is survived by her brother, Larry Donnell Smith of Culpeper, two sisters, Eunice Smith Murphy (Alonzo) of Barboursville and DuJuan Inez Smith of Charlottesville and one aunt Lola Watson of Alexandria along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents a brother William Smith Jr. and a sister Joyce Linda Smith.

A private Memorial Service will be held for the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Culpeper University Hospital and Culpeper Health Rehabilitation Center.
