"Wendy Marie Parsons, 58, of Elyria passed away on April 30, 2026 in her home following a brief illness . She was born on October 11, 1967 in Amherst, OH and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Wendy graduated from Elyria High School. She worked many years at MK Cleaning and even after leaving continued to care for several of her elderly clients. At the time of her death, she worked at Diamond Products in Elyria. Wendy loved horror movies and is responsible for passing that love on to her younger cousins, daughters and grandchildren. Her favorite was The Rocky Horror Picture Show which featured the true love of her life, Tim Curry (Dr. Frank-N-Furter). She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Crenshaw, granddaughters, Claire and Elda Newland, brothers Daniel (Katie) Parsons, Delmas Parsons Jr., Samuel (Megan) Parsons, sister Amanda Parsons, almost mom, Bonnie Ahart, almost brothers Ricke (Tracy) Ahart and John Ahart, almost daughters, Michelle Richardson (Josh) Sexton, Caylin Streets, and Sydney (Alan) Anderson-Trill and almost grandchildren, Vincent, Daniel, Jason, Lillie and Cereza. She was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Crenshaw, her father and stepmother, Delmas and Rita Parsons, her mother, Christine Parsons, her grandparents, Harry and Darlene Bates, and her Uncle, Rick Ahart.

Wendy was always smiling, always laughing and the first to crack a joke and her passing is a huge loss to anyone who had to privilege of knowing her. A celebration of life service will be held at Elyria Church at 276 Washington Ave. in Elyria at 11am on May 16, 2026."
