" Viola Barney Brown of Albany, Georgia, peacefully transitioned from this life at the extraordinary age of 101. Born on March 25, 1925, she lived a life that beautifully spanned over a century—rich in love, faith, family, and resilience.

Viola was a pillar of strength and wisdom, a woman whose life reflected grace, endurance, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She witnessed generations of change and growth, yet remained a constant source of comfort, guidance, and compassion to everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two of her beloved children, and her devoted husband of 62 years, Willie Brown Sr.

She was the proud and loving mother of 13 children, a devoted grandmother to 65 grandchildren, and a cherished matriarch to a host of great-grandchildren. Her legacy is deeply rooted in the family she built and nurtured, each generation carrying forward her love, values, and spirit.

Viola was known for her warm heart, gentle presence, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her kindness, strength, and quiet faith left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
